Science has shown that siblings to children with a disability are affected by the family situation. The siblings often let their own needs and requests come secondary to their family members. This study illustrates how different professionals, who keep in contact with families with a disabled child, works with its siblings. The purpose with this study was to see how professionals, working as administrators, counselors at the habilitation and kin supporters in the region of Kalmar, include siblings while working with the families. Representatives from the professionals have been interviewed with a semi structured interview manual.The result showed that professionals have various opinions how siblings are affected by the family situation.

Siblings of persons with disabilities tend to be sidelined and not get the same attention in the same amount as the child with the disability gets, both by the parents and the society. Previous research in this area is limited and siblings of people with disabilities and their experiences of support needs to be explored. The purpose of this paper is to learn about support for siblings of people with disabilities in terms of both adult siblings own experiences from his childhood and from practitioners experience. Six qualitative interviews with four adult siblings of people with disabilities and two professionals were interviewed. Systems Theory and Bronfenbrenners ecological model has provided the theoretical basis for the essay.

Background:Every year, in Sweden, 250 children and adolescents below 15 years of age are diagnosed with cancer. Over 75% of those diagnosed are cured. Cancer affects not only the child but the whole family. Siblings of the affected child can easily suffer from a lack of attention.Aim:This study aimed to illuminate siblings' experiences of living in a family with a child affected by cancer.Method:A literature-based study based on nine qualitative studies.Results:The result showed that it was important for siblings to have someone close and not be alone, they needed to feel a community. Not to know and not to understand what has happened made them to feel grief, fear, stress and jealousy.

The purpose of this essay was to examine, from a gender perspective, how biological children in foster families experience the situation of living with foster siblings. Bonus har under våren 2009 varit ett starkt kritiserat ämne. Flertalet skandaler har varitbelysta av media, ledare har antingen tagit emot eller efter kritik avstått från bonus i denrådande lågkonjunkturen. I denna studie behandlar vi det omtvistade ämnet bonus som ensymbol där vi söker förståelse för laddningen ordet bonus har fått. För att komma så näraverkligheten som möjligt valde vi att utföra en kvalitativ fallstudie på två företag somanvänder symbolen bonus. The aim of this study has been to investigate whether people with siblings that have disability have been personally affected when making choices about their studies and careers based on their upbringing with their siblings. The method chosen was qualitative data and consists of six interviews with people who are familiar with the chosen problem area. In conclusion, our results do not show a link between choices of study in relation to the sibling's disabilities. However a link was found between career choices, many choose to work in the area of health and well-being. This paper seeks to investigate whether there is a positive relationship between bonus as a part of total executive compensation and lower accounting quality among Swedish companies. In this study, accounting quality is defined as the degree by which a company's earnings are subject to earnings management. To detect earnings management accrual-based modified Jones model is applied to companies listed on the Large-, Mid- and Small-Cap lists on the Stockholm stock exchange during 2011. We find a statistically significant positive relationship between bonus as a part of total executive compensation and lower accounting quality. Thus, in line with prior research, our results suggest that managers, interested in maximizing their bonus, will select income increasing accruals to manage earnings upwards.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att utveckla förståelse för VD-bonus kopplad till prestation och användningen av bonustak. Undersökningens intention är att hitta forskningsproblem för en djupare studie. För att skapa förståelse kring detta valde vi att göra en kvantitativ studie av de 33 mest omsatta bolagen på Stockholmsbörsen. Vi genomförde telefonintervjuer med nio av dessa där vi ställde frågor kring hur företagens bonusutformning såg ut, vilka mål och mått bonusen baseras på, hur bonustaket var utformat samt orsak till bonus, mål och tak. Det teoretiska fundament som vi bygger våra diskussioner på är agent- och stewardshipteorin.

Uppsatsen "Att leva med bonussyskon ? Om de biologiska barnens situation i familjehemmen" ur ett föräldra- samt professionellt perspektiv är utförd och skriven av Annie Dahlbom.Denna studie syftar till att få kunskap om de biologiska barnens situation och behov i familjehemmen. Följande frågeställningar har ställts: Hur ser familjehemsföräldrar och familjehemssekreterare på de biologiska barnens delaktighet och roll? Vilka upplevelser och erfarenheter får biologiska barn i och med familjens uppdrag? Har biologiska barn ett behov av stöd och hjälp för sin egen del och i så fall hur?Denna studie är av kvalitativ karaktär och bygger på semistrukturerade intervjuer med familjehemssekreterare samt familjehemsföräldrar.Studiens resultat visar att biologiska barn i familjehem anses ha en betydelsefull roll för uppdraget och är i hög grad delaktiga i den dagliga vården av det placerade barnet. Familjehemmets egna barn har ingen delaktighet vid möten eller i kontakten med socialtjänsten.

The aim of this study is to examine the experienced life situations of siblings growing up with a brother or a sister diagnosed with autism. The study is qualitative and therefore suitable to the purpose of studying the informants´ own experiences. Three women and one man, aged between 18-24 years, were interviewed through chatt programs on the Internet. The constituted perspective is phenomenological and the analysis were made by identifying meaning units in the text from the interviews. The theory used to interpret the result is systems theory and more specifically the structual family therapy by Salvador Minuchin.

Children, who grow up in families, where their parents have decided to take care of a foster child on a commission of the social welfare services, are not often given the possibility to tell about their experience of having foster siblings, in research and other studies. The aim of this study was to give biological children, in these families, a chance to tell their narratives of growing up with foster siblings, creating opportunities for families, who might have plans to take care of foster children in the future. They can get a picture of how it could be for the family´s own children. The biological children got the opportunity to tell their narrative stories including the relationships in their families and how they were looking forward into their own future and family life. The used theory takes part in systemic thinking, looking at the family as an organization and how identities are created in relationships and in communication.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva hur företag redovisar för bonus och bonussystem till ledande befattningshavare samt att analysera utvecklingen. Metod: Metodologisk ansats är deduktiv med induktiva inslag. Undersökningsmetoden är en survey genom dokumentstudie, av främst kvalitativ karaktär. Teoretiska perspektiv: Studerad litteratur berör legitimitetsteori. Legitimitet ses utifrån både ett strategiskt och ett institutionellt perspektiv.

People with Down syndrome are living longer lives today thanks to medical science. These people with their families are in need of assistance from goverments and professionals throughout their lives. It is therefore important to understand how familymembers affected by having a person with Down syndrome in the family. In this paper we focus on the siblings' experience. This study aims to examine four women's experiences of what it is like to have a sibling with Down syndrome and how the respondents have developed their role and identity as siblings, and what strategies they have developed for this role.
